Easy Meatloaf Recipe using mrTruk Tomato Ketchup

Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1/2 cup tomato ketchup
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup green bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, tomato ketchup, breadcrumbs, beaten eggs, onion, green bell pepper, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, and dried thyme.
  3. Mix the ingredients together until everything is well combined.
  4. Transfer the meatloaf mixture to a greased loaf pan and press it down gently.
  5. Spread an additional 1/4 cup of tomato ketchup over the top of the meatloaf.
  6. Bake the meatloaf in the preheated oven for 1 hour, or until it is cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  7. Remove the meatloaf from the oven and let it rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving.
